Eric Corneau, President and Co-Founder
As Co-ordinator of Policy and Planning for Nunavut Arctic College, based in Iqaluit, Eric has established a significant role for northern communities in researching models of sustainable development by developing renewable energy and telecommunications. Previously, as president and founder of Mowaca Inc., a Gatineau-based consulting company, Eric and his team spearheaded the strategic planning process to develop a conceptual plan from that inspired the founding of Eco Echo in April 2008. Passionate about the arts, the environment, politics and governance, he is actively supporting the conditions necessary for sustainable community development. Eric is a graduate of Concordia University (B.A. Honours in Political Science, Major in Community and Public Affairs) and the University of Ottawa (Masters in Public Administration).
Christopher Minnes, Vice-President and Co-Founder
Christopher Minnes (CFRE), principal with Minnes Strategic Consulting Services LLC, is experienced in planning, marketing, organizational development and fundraising for non-profit cultural and environmental organizations. During the past three years he identified $17 million to strengthen the permanent endowment of the Dallas Symphony Foundation. Recently he completed a $3 million campaign for Reasoning Mind, an elementary school online math program. He previously worked with over 20 cultural organizations as Senior Vice-President of the Arts Consulting Group. While director of development for Los Angeles-based TreePeople, he raised $15 million for inspiring youth and community programmes and to build a "sustainable" environmental education center in a 40-acre city park. Christopher graduated from Principia College with a B.A. in Political Science. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and a Masters in Arts Administration from Southern Methodist University. He is credentialed by the Association of Fundraising Professionals as a Certified Fundraising Executive.
