Steve Leroux with Ken and Lorraine Taylor invested over 25 years in the study of organic and cold weather farming. Their years of experience and experimentation have made them the foremost authorities when it comes to hardy fruit trees and plants, representing one of the most comprehensive and unique tree collections in the world. KHEWA in Wakefield, Quebec promotes and preserves the culture of native people. In a warm atmosphere, Khewa creates links and open its door for a better understanding between native people and non-native people. Mycologists amateur de l’Outaouais (MAO) has been operational since 1978 as a group of 200 amateurs of natural science. It offers weekly excursions, lectures and practical workshops recognizing the importance of nature to maintain environmental sustainability as well as gathering, identifying and consuming wild mushrooms. Artist Marc Walter, specializing in land art and making art both fun and accessible, has loaned a recent work “Les Potes/The Dudes” for display at Eco Echo. In the last five years, he has devoted himself to the creation of ephemeral works using strictly natural materials. Windmill Point Farm is the premier source for organic fruits and vegetables, organic seed catalog and heirloom tomato seeds near Montreal, Canada.
